Nigeria Scam Targets Funeral Directors
Funeral Directors are again being targeted by people claiming to be family members wanting to return a family member to the UK. The funeral directors are being asked to send money, often several thousand pounds to mortuaries in Nigeria that don’t exist. If you are contacted by anyone claiming to be a family member and you are asked to make a payment to Nigeria, send us the details on the Help Us To Help Others section of the website and we will advise you what to do.
There are reputable funeral directors in Nigeria and they are known by the main repatriation agents.
